Teaching

The new dog and I are heading up to Vermont soon to kill trees and make laughs, and we’re excited! There are a few spots left in my single panel cartooning class if you get a wild hair and want to join us. It’s all pencil and paper. Lots and lots of paper, and some advice from me.

Speaking of advice, I was a recent guest in cartoonist Bob Eckstein’s newsletter. He asks different artists the same few questions, so I answered those, plus offered some cartooning and storytelling tips.

The Folks Behind The Funnies Film

This documentary, shot a while ago, is now available on Amazon. I’m one of the folks interviewed, looking a lot younger than I do now. I am even wearing lipstick—yecch! Lots of newspaper comic strip artists are in there, including Scott Adams. I’m curious to see if there were inklings then about his beliefs today.

The Cat’s Pajamas

Cozy up with some new Rhymes With Orange PJs at the Comics Kingdom store!

Meet Max, the newest member of the team!

Max is two, and joined me 10 weeks ago. He is lovely, and hides dirt well, until such time as he is able to deposit it on the comforter.

That’s all the news for now. Thanks for tuning in!
