Cartoonist Norm Feuti, creator of Gil and Retail, gave me this Gil comic. I treasure it, and wanted to share it with y’all.

I absolutely love it!
Too funny!!!
That’s my favorite Gil comic as well! I shared it with a fellow David Bowie fan, and we both felt old, although I’m only 34.
Excellent print, and a cool bit of serendipity: it was David Bowie’s birthday a few days ago, I think he turned 66.
I had a friend tell me his son raced into the den and announced, “Did you know that Paul McCartney was in a band before Wings?”
Norsekamer, I think that would make a GREAT cartoon! Can I use it?
When we were packing the truck to move ten years ago, my daughter’s boyfriend and his buddy were helping. They found a box of old reel-to-reel demo tapes from my band days and were staring at them. The boyfriend said, “What are those?” His buddy, the expert, replied, “That’s what they used to use in the original computers, before floppy disks and such.”
Bowie studied art, music, and design, including layout and typesetting. After Terry Burns, his half-brother, introduced him to modern jazz, his enthusiasm for players like Charles Mingus and John Coltrane led his mother to give him a plastic alto saxophone in 1961; he was soon receiving lessons from a local musician.^*
